The venue is designed to accommodate a variety of drag racing disciplines, featuring a concrete racing surface that extends to 330 feet, complemented by a full track preparation using VHT JP1 traction compound. With a 450-meter braking area, including a gravel trap and catch nets, the track prioritizes safety while maintaining a competitive environment. The facility is well-equipped with electronic timing boards, infrared start sensors, and comprehensive pit lighting, ensuring that events can run smoothly from morning through to evening. Beyond the track itself, South Coast Raceway offers a welcoming atmosphere for both participants and spectators. The site includes clubrooms with bar and kitchen facilities, full catering options, and an expansive 8,000-square-meter pit area.
