## About Powercruise

**Powercruise** is one of Australia's best-known performance car event organisers, bringing together car enthusiasts for high-octane experiences at motorsport venues across Australia and internationally. Founded by Brisbane car enthusiast Michael 'Gup' Gilbert, Powercruise was created to give drivers the opportunity to enjoy their cars in ways they couldn't on public roads, within a controlled motorsport environment. What began in Australia has since expanded to New Zealand and the United States, building a passionate community around performance cars and automotive culture. Best known for its flagship Powercruise festivals and Powerplay events, the organisation delivers a mix of track cruising, off-street racing, drifting, powerskids, burnout competitions and show-and-shine displays. From modified street cars and classic muscle to high-powered race machines, Powercruise brings together vehicles of all kinds, creating an experience that celebrates horsepower, individuality and the shared passion for cars.
