Round 4 of the Brandt Sprintcars Speedweek crosses the border into Victoria for the first time, landing at Avalon Raceway near Lara. The penultimate round of this five-night series — run over seven days across two states — arrives after a short breather that does little to ease the pressure. Speedweek fields a genuine who's-who of national sprintcar talent alongside visiting internationals, and with only two rounds remaining, every position matters as the top teams fight to gain ground before the finale. Avalon has a reputation for drama, and Speedweek's fourth night routinely delivers it: shifting track conditions, high stakes, and a championship picture that can be turned on its head in a single feature. For the visiting stars and the Victorian locals alike, this is the last chance to strike before it all comes down to the final night.
