Situated within the sprawling Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex in Berrimah, just outside of Darwin. Recently, the venue underwent a massive transformation through a partnership between the Northern Territory Government and professional track designers to create a permanent, world-class Motocross circuit capable of hosting international competition. The redesigned track is a technical masterpiece spanning 1.61 kilometers with 22 corners and 21 distinct jumps. One of its most striking features is a 90-meter start straight that actually crosses over the Hidden Valley road racing circuit, a layout rarity that provides a spectacular sight for fans of both dirt and asphalt racing. The surface is a carefully engineered blend of 70% sand and 30% clay, designed to remain challenging and reward precise rider input as the track develops lines and ruts throughout a race day. Hidden Valley is celebrated for its exceptional spectator visibility, utilizing the natural bowl-like undulations of the Darwin landscape to ensure that fans can see almost the entire circuit from various vantage points. As the chosen home for the return of the MXGP World Championship to Australian soil, the venue has solidified its status as a premier global destination. The atmosphere is uniquely Territorian, with major events often scheduled during the dry season to take advantage of the clear skies and slightly cooler evening temperatures under the venue's powerful floodlights.

The track is located approximately 10 kilometers south of the Darwin central business district. Visitors can reach the venue by following the Stuart Highway and turning onto Hidden Valley Road. Ample parking is available on-site within the larger motorsports complex, with dedicated areas for competitors and spectators during major event weekends. Most visitors arrive via private vehicle or taxi, as public transport options to the industrial area of Berrimah are limited.
