The redesigned track is a technical masterpiece spanning 1.61 kilometers with 22 corners and 21 distinct jumps. One of its most striking features is a 90-meter start straight that actually crosses over the Hidden Valley road racing circuit, a layout rarity that provides a spectacular sight for fans of both dirt and asphalt racing. The surface is a carefully engineered blend of 70% sand and 30% clay, designed to remain challenging and reward precise rider input as the track develops lines and ruts throughout a race day. Hidden Valley is celebrated for its exceptional spectator visibility, utilizing the natural bowl-like undulations of the Darwin landscape to ensure that fans can see almost the entire circuit from various vantage points. As the chosen home for the return of the MXGP World Championship to Australian soil, the venue has solidified its status as a premier global destination. The track is located approximately 10 kilometers south of the Darwin central business district. Visitors can reach the venue by following the Stuart Highway and turning onto Hidden Valley Road.
