About Victorian Motorsports Park For almost 50 years, this iconic venue has been at the heart of Australian drag racing, bringing together generations of racers, teams and fans while creating countless unforgettable moments. Formerly known as Heathcote Park Raceway, the venue has long been recognised as one of Victoria's premier grassroots drag racing destinations, welcoming everyone from first-time racers through to Australia's quickest street cars. The venue begins an exciting new chapter as Victorian Motorsports Park (VMP). Backed by significant investment and a long-term vision, VMP is being transformed into one of Australia's leading motorsport and live event destinations. Extensive upgrades across the venue include a refurbished racing surface, expanded pit facilities, improved safety systems, upgraded timing equipment, enhanced drainage, new infrastructure and modern event facilities designed to support competitors, spectators and promoters alike. But VMP is about far more than drag racing.
