Friday Night Drifts transforms Calder Park Raceway into a high-energy drifting festival where 50 drivers participate in six hours of continuous track time and tandem battles. The event utilizes the Thunderdome's FD Layout, a technical configuration known as the Concrete Jungle, designed for proximity and spectator viewing of high-speed entries. Fans can see the Freestyle Kings perform motocross stunts and flips over drift cars between track sessions. The pit area is open to the public, allowing attendees to see over 60 unique drift cars and meet the teams. A premium show and shine area also displays a variety of JDM and Euro street builds competing for trophies. The venue features a dedicated Kids Zone with face painting and activities, making it accessible for families. Trackside amenities include food trucks, the KIR Bar, and a merchandise area with live commentary and music playing throughout the evening. Calder Park Raceway is one of Australia’s most storied motorsport facilities, located just outside of Melbourne in the suburb of Keilor North.
