The park is located approximately 15 kilometers south of Barmera. From Adelaide, the journey takes roughly 2.5 hours via the Sturt Highway. While the main access road and the areas around the Tavern are accessible by standard vehicles, many of the internal tracks and spectator points along the race course require a 4WD vehicle for safe access.
